6-Week Advanced Obedience Training

Our Advanced Obedience Program is for dogs six months and older and is designed for dogs whose owners who would like the additional reliability of having their dogs off leash in an unfenced area. We begin with teaching the basics on leash - Sit, Down, Heel, Here, Place, and Off. At the end of three weeks, we schedule a one-on-one training session for you to work with your dog and implement new training techniques. Once your dog understands basic commands and is able to respond with distractions, at duration, and with distance, we introduce e-collar conditioning. and schedule another one-on-one session at five weeks. The crucial final step is making commands reliable in any situation. We continue to add distractions, distance, and a variety of environments to ensure your dog generalizes learned skills. At the end of your dog's 6-week program, we schedule your go home appointment. This appointment is to give you the knowledge of how to work with and handle your dog to maintain and build upon their knowledge when you return home.
