Our TRAINING COMPLEX consists of 120 acres of privately owned grasslands and ponds, fully fenced, with a modern, climate controlled, kennel facility. We offer courses in GUN DOG training, Puppy “HEAD START” and for the Non-Hunter, a comprehensive ALL BREED OBEDIENCE training program. At Hightest, we have been professionally training dogs to hunt and be good citizens for over 30 years. We have numerous AKC Field Champions, Master Hunters and Satisfied Customers to our credit.

Hightest is not your ordinary BOARDING kennel! We are a "Vacation Destination for Dogs" with acres of fields and ponds for your dog to enjoy. Whether you are going on a long vacation or just a few days, you can be confident your dog is being cared for well and given plenty of time to exercise and play. Our experienced staff is friendly and professional and includes an animal technologist to personally supervise your dog's care. We are always happy to cater to your dog's comfort and special needs.

We combine some of the best lines of Field Champion SIRES and DAMS to produce high quality, field, Labrador Retriever PUPPIES. Our objective is to produce a puppy that is willing to work, intelligent and an enjoyable family companion. We also offer at stud, Black, Yellow and Chocolate AKC Hunt Test titled Labrador Retrievers.

Quality Field Retrievers are our specialty, proven by the many successful field competition and hunting retrievers that carry the Hightest name.

Located mid-way between the communities of Oroville and Marysville- Yuba City off state Highway 70, we are close to the towns of Chico, Colusa and Gridley - home of the famous Pacific Flyway's Butte Sink Waterfowl area.
