Debra Folsom of Hightest Kennels has been officially recognized as an "AKC Breeder of Merit". Breeders that perform health screenings recommended by the Labrador parent club on all their breeding stock and that have consistently produced dogs that have earned AKC titles in performance events are given this recognition. Breeders of Merit must also have established several years of credibility with AKC and be committed to registering all their puppies with AKC.
