Take I-5 toward Sacramento

Take the first exit – Hwy. 99 (North) to Yuba City – Marysville

Go approx. 10 miles and take the Hwy 70 exit to Marysville

Follow the signs thru Marysville to Oroville remaining on State Route 70

12 miles North of Marysville take the Bangor- LaPorte exit – Lower Honcut Rd. to the right.

Go 2 miles – cross over railroad tracks

Lake Oroville Dam & Visitors Center Oroville Dam is one of the largest earth fill dams in the world and is over a mile long. The visitor’s center tells the story of how the dam was built and has many interesting Indian artifacts. Lake Oroville is a large, state recreation area with camping, fishing and boating.

Chico is 45 minutes north of our location up Hwy. 70 to 99 North. Chico has an interesting collection of shops and restuarants downtown and is home to the picturesque campus of California State University – Chico, all within walking distance. Bidwell Mansion State Park, the historic Stansbury House, and the Chico, Museum are all within or next to the downtown area. Bidwell Park begins a few blocks away.
