Now that Duck Season is over I wanted to say how thankful I have been that I pick up Rover as a puppy back in 2008 at the Hightest Kennels. Rover has gone through all of your training programs and believe me it does show the high quality of your trainers Ole and Andrew for their true passion training working hunting dogs. Plus all the pointers that Ole has given me over the years with Rover. To see Rover's enthusiasm working the rice fields retrieving ducks and geese and to get so many compliments form other hunters on Rover. I know there is no other place to train or board Rover then to drive out from San Francisco to take him the Hightest Kennels...thanks again for such a wonderful organization you have!

I just thought I would write and say how happy I am with my purchase of Hightest Texas Magnolia (Tee) . She has been everything I had wanted and more. She is fantastic at home and fantastic in the field and just loves to retrieve. Last week she passed her first junior hunt test in Suisun at the Marin Retriever Club fall event. I just wanted to thank you guys for such a great dog he is the head of his class, eager to learn and sweet with everything including the family cat. The cat is not a fan of Jacks but he takes it in stride and keeps his distance. Jack is doing double and triple blind retrieves both in water and land. He's a fabulous marking dog, and has decided that he will be a pheasant hunter as well.
I could not be happier and would recommend your kennel to all I know.

We just wanted to send a note and say thank you for such a wonderful addition to our family. Chaos has just been a great puppy and now just turned a year Aug 6th
and looks gorgeous and has such an amazing attitude. He really has come a long way from not being sure of the water and lack of wanting to go for the bumpers (puppy head start was a little rough) to just being nuts about them both and when he hears a gun shot he is alert and ready to go for that bird. We are looking forward to hunting with him this year and many more years to come. I have not been able to decide if he looks like his mom Trouble or dad Beau. He is a pretty great mixture of both. We are always getting complements on how great looking of a dog we have and that is thanks to great looking parents. Thanks again!

Brandy is sired by your stud dog Chance and is from a female belonging to Barbie Brummet. She is absolutely the perfect dog for us. Actually, she is the ONLY Lab my husband has owned that he has cared about in my opinion. She is a smart dog - also the only one who gets to sleep in the house.
She is intelligent - intense - and obedient. Great fun as a family dog and a great hunting companion. Thanks to you and Barbie for breeding such great dogs. Check out the pix - she LOVES to retrieve her Kong ball from the bottom of our swimming pool !

Just thought I’d send you an update on how Millie, the trained dog we purchased from you is doing. We finished her 2nd duck hunting season in February and I can’t tell you enough how awesome she is. She’s the best of both worlds. An excellent hunter/retriever and an even better family pet. The customer service I was treated to was remarkable and your staff of trainers for both obedience and gun dog training was excellent. The facility is clean, very well organized and the perfect layout for gun dog training. I’m including a few pictures and be proud of what you guys accomplish.

Here's a picture of Hightest Blue Bogey (Bogey)--10 and 1/2 months--son of Trey and Summer. He's studying the ducks with great interest but alas, we are not hunters. He looks like his mom and is incredibly handsome and smart and very mellow. Before we picked him up last July I had heard that we were in for trouble because Hightest dogs are "high energy" but he is the best dog I have ever had. You are truly breeding "Sawtelle" dogs. (The dogs in the "Story of Edgar Sawtell" were bred for intelligence and character.

Saber won the open at the Lassen AKC Field Trial February 11-13th to complete his Field Championship and qualify for the National Amateur. The next week he placed 2nd in the Amateur at the Sagehen’s Trial. Saber is the son of FC-AFC Hightest Black Tie Affair. Saber is my second great field trial dog from the Hightest lines that go back to FC Hightest's Magic Mouse. Thanks for producing such a great line of dogs.

Dear Hightest Team.
I wanted to send you a photo of our Hightest dog, Cody, who will be 10 years old this June. Cody has been the best dog we have ever owned. He is such a loving dog, and he still acts like a pup when he plays around the house. He is not a small dog, he is very tall and big, and at 110 lbs, he takes up a lot of room on the bed! Put him out in the field, and he is just awesome. He is strictly business out in the blind, except when he leans over and gives his dad a quick lick on the face. We have another puppy coming (from litter #4 on April 27), and we hope he turns out to be just as great as Cody. Cody will surely teach him some good moves in the field!
